Answers
1- What process should someone who has just received their degree start?
When a Social Sciences student takes the last subject or presents the final work of a specific undergraduate or graduate degree, she must begin the process to obtain her degree. Two months after starting the administration, she must withdraw the analytical title
from the Graduate Division and, later, he will receive his diploma at the graduation ceremony.
2- How does the process begin to request the analytical degree and the diploma?
The student begins the process to request her analytical degree and her diploma once she takes the last subject or presents the final work, according to the requirements for completing the degree she studies.
To begin the process you must ask the Graduate Division for the corresponding form to start the application. Then, you must present that form at the Faculty Entrance Desk along with a copy of: your high school transcript, your DNI
and her birth certificate. It is important to clarify that the diploma will have the name(s) and surname(s) of each student written according to the information that appears on her/his birth certificate.
3- What documentation do graduates receive and what is it for?
After starting the application for her degree, the graduate receives two documents: the diploma and the analytical degree. The first is the one you receive at the collation ceremony, which takes place every year in the month of October. The second is a document that contains
the details of all the subjects taken, on what dates and what grades the person obtained during their career. This last document is available before the diploma and the graduate must pick it up from the Graduate Division.
The analytical is the title that the graduate must present in the workplaces where they are asked to certify their degree training.
4- How to follow up on the application process for the analytical degree and diploma?
Once a recently graduated student has started the process of applying for her degree, she must wait a minimum of seven to ten business days to communicate with the faculty and inquire about her file. . Then, the process continues in the
university rectorship. In that instance, the graduate can find out the status of the process through the UNSJ website http://www.unsj.edu.ar/transparencia/administracion/buscar_expedientes >
5- What happens when the graduate's degree is ready?
Once the diplomas of the class, which concluded its career up to and including March 31, are ready, the Faculty of Social Sciences calls on the graduates to place their signature. This happens in the month of September. Then in October
The collation ceremony is held in which the Social Sciences graduates receive their diplomas.
6- When is the collation event held and who can participate?
The collation ceremony is an event organized by the Faculty of Social Sciences to deliver their diplomas to those who have completed their undergraduate and graduate studies.
This activity takes place in the month of October, around the 10th, which is the anniversary of the creation of the National University of San Juan. Students who graduated until March 31, inclusive, of the year in which it takes place participate.
the act of collation.
For example: if someone received their degree in February 2022, they will participate in the graduation ceremony that same year. Another case, if a person graduated in June 2022, they will receive their diploma in the year 2023.
7- Is the analytics available before the title? Can it be requested before the snack?
In general, the analytical degree is usually ready before the diploma that graduates receive at the graduation ceremony. Therefore, graduates can request the analysis in the Graduate Division at least two months after starting
the title application process.
8- What happens if the graduate did not withdraw his/her analysis on time and needs to update the form? Some graduates do not withdraw their analysis close to the date of their graduation, but they do it years later. So it may happen that
When they obtain it and need to present it at an institution, they are told that the format of the analytical title is not updated and that they must update it to be able to present it.
In these cases, the graduate must initiate a procedure at the Ticket Desk. She will present a copy of her analytic, her DNI and a note addressed to the person in charge of the Student Department requesting the update of her analytic title.
9- How can law graduates apply for registration in the Lawyers Forum if they have not yet received their degree?
As Law students need to apply for registration at the Lawyers Forum as soon as they graduate, the degree process for these cases has a particularity.
Although recent graduates have not yet received their degree at the graduation ceremony, if their diplomas are already ready they can begin their registration process at the Lawyers Forum. Then, the Faculty of Social Sciences allows the forum to access
to the graduates' diplomas to complete their registration. Finally, the lawyers receive their title at the collation ceremony.
